Single Deep Hives

Each Hive Set includes:

• 1 - 5 Frame Nuc of Bees with Mated Queen (not marked)
• 1 - Telescoping Top Cover
• 1 - Inner Cover (not showing)
• 1 - 9 5/8" Deep Hive Body (aka brood box) & 3 New Frames
• 1 - 1.5 Gallon Frame Syrup Feeder (not filled with syrup)
• 1 - 4" Screened Bottom Board (including debris board)
• 1 - Entrance Reducer (secured and closed before transport)
• 1 - New Mite Control Strip (hanging between middle brood frames)
• 1 - Ratchet Strap to keep hive secure during transport

These come with your choice of either Italian or Texan (seasonal) bees and choice of coatings, White Paint or Wax Dipped.

Note: This Single Deep Set setup does NOT include any extra boxes with frames to add for growth. Typically extra boxes (sold separately) are needed in about 2 - 4 weeks, especially during a Nectar Flow (maybe sooner or later) or when Feeding regularly to promote growth.

We offer "Curb Side" style pick up for folks on the go with minimal delays ... or we can open the hives to show you the bees and queens on any of the available Pick Up Dates. You select from multiple dates when placing an order. Each of the hive purchase options are available with or without our popular basic beekeeping school. Classes are held in the mornings, 10:00 am till noon, followed by loading bees in the afternoons.

Honey bees are live livestock and require timely pickup and proper handling.

• Arrive at your scheduled pickup time
• Provide adequate ventilation during transport
• Avoid leaving bees unattended in hot vehicles

Failure to follow pickup instructions may result in loss of bees. (see Pick Up notes below)
